Hi
I was born in Ashford Common, Middlesex, more years ago than I care to remember.
I first started writing in the 1980s when I contributed to a computer magazine, but when that folded, my writing was put on hold as I concentrated on earning a living.
I started writing fiction when I retired. Worth Fighting For was my first attempt at writing a Novella.
My story "Two Widows" won the Shaftesbury Arts Festival Story Slam 2016.
I now live in Mablethorpe, Lincolnshire, with my wife and dog.
I don't limit my reading to any particular genre.
I'm not big on Sci-Fi, but I have enjoyed a couple of Philip K Dick's books
I suppose my favourite genres would be spy thrillers and crime fiction, but I like my characters and settings to be believable. This means that I've left James Bond behind and moved on to Len Deighton and John Le Carre.
For the crime fiction, Peter May's books set on the Hebridean islands take some beating, and more recently, I've been enjoying the books of Jane Harper.
